Leadership and staff from the C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics attended an event sponsored by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month. Each year, the celebration is observed from September 15th through October 15th to recognize the heritage, cultures and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans.
Christopher F. Irizarry, MPA, FQHC Executive Director of the C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics and Milagros Rodriguez, Outreach Coordinator, attended the event at the West Palm Beach Marriott and met with Florida Lieutenant Governor Carlos Lopez-Cantera, who was the featured speaker.
“It is not lost on me standing here in front of a group of Hispanic businessmen and women that I am the first Hispanic lieutenant governor in the history of Florida. I’m proud to represent our cultures, our traditions and I enjoy what I do every day,” Lopez-Cantera said during the event.
“The C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics are proud to serve patients from various cultures, including those in the Hispanic and Latino communities,” said Mr. Irizarry. “Our five clinics located throughout Palm Beach County allow us to help this vital part of our local community address their health care needs in a compassionate and culturally-sensitive manner.
