All four clinic locations are open five days a week. Patients with or without insurance can make the clinics their primary health care provider and receive services that include: yearly physicals; medical evaluations and disease management; laboratory testing referrals; diabetes and hypertension screenings; mammogram referrals; nutritional assessment and referrals; specialty care referrals; adult immunizations; employment, school and housing physicals; pharmacy services; and financial counseling for eligibility determination.
Pediatric services include: well child visits; sick child visits; school and sports physicals; childhood immunizations; hearing and vision testing; lead screening; and laboratory testing referrals.
“We are excited to expand the availability of services for our patients, regardless of their ability to pay,” said Christopher F. Irizarry, the Health Care District’s FQHC Executive Director.
In June of 2013, the Health Care District began operating the C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics as Federally Qualified Health Centers. Board-certified physicians, Registered Nurses, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners and Certified Medical Assistants who staff the Clinics provide primary health care services to adults and children at the current Florida Health Palm Beach County (formerly Palm Beach County Health Department) health centers in Lantana, Delray Beach, West Palm Beach and Belle Glade. The Clinics’ mission is to provide compassionate, comprehensive health services to all Palm Beach County residents through collaboration and partnerships, in a culturally sensitive environment.
