The C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics provided toiletry supplies and informational materials about the Brumback Clinics’ services to the homeless who attended the Light House Café’s annual Thanksgiving dinner.
The Belle Glade Chamber of Commerce also participated in the Brumback Clinics’ outreach event which was held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Milagros Rodriguez, MHA/Ed, ICLC, CFLE, Brumback Clinics’ Patient and Physician Relations Liaison distributed 150 hygiene kits, as well as Clinics’ flyers and brochures, to each person who came and enjoyed the hot, holiday meal.
Every day, the Light House Café’s volunteers prepare balanced hot meals from food donated by the Feeding South Florida Food Bank, local farmers, local churches, and individuals throughout the Glades’ community. All meals served are free to anyone who comes in.
The Light House Café also offers counseling and provisions to those in need. The C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics, located in Belle Glade and other sites throughout Palm Beach County, provide medical and dental services to adults and children with or without insurance.
The Brumback Clinics are Federally Qualified Health Centers owned and operated by the Health Care District of Palm Beach County, a public health care system that serves as the county’s health care safety net.
