During an award presentation at the District Clinic Holdings, Inc. Board of Directors’ meeting on February 23, Darcy J. Davis, CPA, MSM, Health Care District Chief Executive Officer, spoke about the impressive results of the Brumback Clinics’ Colorectal Cancer Screening program that was initiated after the Clinics in 2014 received a $50,000 Walgreens Co. “CHANGE” grant through the American Cancer Society.
In recognition of that lifesaving program, along with the Brumback Clinics’ initiatives related to another $50,000 grant from the American Cancer Society for breast cancer screenings, Jennifer Bustamante, MPH, Health Systems Manager, Primary Care, with the American Cancer Society, presented a plaque from the American Cancer Society to the Clinics for their “contributions to the fight against cancer.”
