On June 25th, the C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinic in Belle Glade co-hosted a community health fair with staff and students from Miami Dade College School of Nursing. Participants received free blood glucose, blood sugar and cholesterol screenings as well as health education on a variety of topics including nutrition, diabetes and hypertension. The students also provided education to children on the dangers of smoking and provided them with backpacks for the upcoming school year.
The Health Care District of Palm Beach County owns and operates four Brumback Clinics in Palm Beach County which offer quality medical care to adults and children regardless of a patient’s ability to pay or whether or not the patient has insurance.
