Health Care District of Palm Beach County
The Health Care District of Palm Beach County, which operates the four C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics, is a safety-net health care system established as a local taxing district in November of 1988 by the county’s voters. This referendum enabled the creation of a countywide health care district to plan, fund and coordinate the effective delivery of quality health care services. The Health Care District’s mission is to ensure access to a comprehensive health care system and the delivery of quality services for the residents of Palm Beach County. The Health Care District manages its budget in a fiscally responsible manner. Approximately 94% of the District’s expenditures are used to deliver and fund direct health care services to Palm Beach County residents.
